My name is William “Henry” Roberts, and I am a Game Developer and Software Engineer. My previous employment at CBRE was as a Unity 3D Software Engineer developing 3D cities using Unity and C#. I created the runtime building generation, designed and programmed user interaction, and optimized the rendering pipeline.
I would love for you take time to explore my other pages that demonstrate my programming and design capabilities using both Unreal and C++, as well as Unity and C#. My passion is game programming and design, but I am always eager to learn new skills and meet new people!
I graduated Cum Laude at The University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Animation and Games. In my free time I am working on multiple games based on the awful TikTok ads that showcase a fun little mobile game as a scam. I thought it would be very interesting to actually make a mobile game like those ads.
Highlighted Project
I developed a 3D action rogue-like that combines aspects of time trials and ever-increasing difficulties. I used Blueprints and C++ in UE5 to create this game. I supplemented my programming ability with Unreal assets for art and animation. Learning the Unreal graphics, material, and animation systems were a particular challenge for this project. This experience has taught me invaluable aspects of Unreal that I can apply in a profession environment.
